Ghana Mobility Trend

Avg Mobility Trend Vs. COVID19 Cases

According to the Mobility trend in Ghana since the outbreak of COVID19, an average of 12% change in mobility has been observed in residential areas and an average of -16% change in mobility in non residential activities such as retails, parks, driving, etc.

The Average Mobility trend is an average of multiple Mobility datasets presented by location and highlights the percentage change(from baseline) in visits to places like grocery stores, parks etc and mobility activities like walking and driving within a geographic area. The raw data is derived from Google and Apple.

Each category of mobility trend represents the change of percentage (from baseline) in visits to places like grocery stores, pharmacy, parks and mobility activities like walking & driving. The data representing Walking and driving trends are dericed from are Apple and rest of the data such as visits to park, grocery, pharma etc has been derived from Google.

Ghana has so far made 1842458 tests of which 130041 cases have been tested positive. Of the 130041 confirmed cases 1174 deaths have been recorded, 127050 are recovered, 40 are critical and 1817 cases are active and under treatment. On an average till now Ghana has seen 4073 cases per million, 37 deaths per million and done 57724 tests per million.
