Jamaica Mobility Trend

Avg Mobility Trend Vs. COVID19 Cases

According to the Mobility trend in Jamaica since the outbreak of COVID19, an average of 15% change in mobility has been observed in residential areas and an average of -30% change in mobility in non residential activities such as retails, parks, driving, etc.

The Average Mobility trend is an average of multiple Mobility datasets presented by location and highlights the percentage change(from baseline) in visits to places like grocery stores, parks etc and mobility activities like walking and driving within a geographic area. The raw data is derived from Google and Apple.

Each category of mobility trend represents the change of percentage (from baseline) in visits to places like grocery stores, pharmacy, parks and mobility activities like walking & driving. The data representing Walking and driving trends are dericed from are Apple and rest of the data such as visits to park, grocery, pharma etc has been derived from Google.

Jamaica has so far made 87976 tests of which 8321 cases have been tested positive. Of the 8321 confirmed cases 173 deaths have been recorded, 3951 are recovered, 12 are critical and 4197 cases are active and under treatment. On an average till now Jamaica has seen 2806 cases per million, 58 deaths per million and done 29672 tests per million.
