Avg Mobility Trend Vs. COVID19 Cases

According to the Mobility trend in Namibia since the outbreak of COVID19, an average of 10% change in mobility has been observed in residential areas and an average of -22% change in mobility in non residential activities such as retails, parks, driving, etc.

The Average Mobility trend is an average of multiple Mobility datasets presented by location and highlights the percentage change(from baseline) in visits to places like grocery stores, parks etc and mobility activities like walking and driving within a geographic area. The raw data is derived from Google and Apple.

Each category of mobility trend represents the change of percentage (from baseline) in visits to places like grocery stores, pharmacy, parks and mobility activities like walking & driving. The data representing Walking and driving trends are dericed from are Apple and rest of the data such as visits to park, grocery, pharma etc has been derived from Google.

Namibia has so far made 117052 tests of which 12326 cases have been tested positive. Of the 12326 confirmed cases 131 deaths have been recorded, 10426 are recovered, 4 are critical and 1769 cases are active and under treatment. On an average till now Namibia has seen 4825 cases per million, 51 deaths per million and done 45823 tests per million.
