According to the Mobility trend in Papua New Guinea since the outbreak of COVID19, an average of 4% change in mobility has been observed in residential areas and an average of -4% change in mobility in non residential activities such as retails, parks, driving, etc.

The Average Mobility trend is an average of multiple Mobility datasets presented by location and highlights the percentage change(from baseline) in visits to places like grocery stores, parks etc and mobility activities like walking and driving within a geographic area. The raw data is derived from Google and Apple.

Each category of mobility trend represents the change of percentage (from baseline) in visits to places like grocery stores, pharmacy, parks and mobility activities like walking & driving. The data representing Walking and driving trends are dericed from are Apple and rest of the data such as visits to park, grocery, pharma etc has been derived from Google.

Papua New Guinea has so far made 27003 tests of which 583 cases have been tested positive. Of the 583 confirmed cases 7 deaths have been recorded, 545 are recovered, 0 are critical and 31 cases are active and under treatment. On an average till now Papua New Guinea has seen 65 cases per million, 0.8 deaths per million and done 3001 tests per million.
